Personal Experience
Attorney Tewodros Dinsa is the founder and principal attorney at the Immigration Law Office of
Tewodros Dinsa. With a unique background as both a former judge and an internationally trained
attorney, Mr. Dinsa brings a wealth of legal experience and a global perspective to his practice.
He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Mekelle University School of Law in Ethiopia.
Following his graduation, he was admitted to the Judges' Preservice Training Center, where he
completed a postgraduate certification qualifying him to serve as a judge. He went on to serve for
several years on the bench, presiding over a broad range of civil, criminal, and administrative
cases.
After his judicial service, Mr. Dinsa became a licensed attorney and continued practicing law in
Ethiopia. He later immigrated to the United States, where he pursued further legal education. Mr.
Dinsa earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Comparative Law from the University of Florida Levin
College of Law, further deepening his understanding of the U.S. legal system.
Mr. Dinsa is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri. Motivated by his own immigration
journey and a deep passion for immigration law, he focuses his practice exclusively on U.S.
immigration law. His background as a judge instilled in him a strong sense of integrity, diligence,
and commitment to justice—qualities that guide his advocacy on behalf of clients.
Attorney Tewodros Dinsa is a Member of the Georgia-Alabama chapter of American Immigration
lawyers Association (AILA) as well as the young Lawyer Division of the Missouri bar. At the
Immigration Law Office of Tewodros Dinsa, he represents clients before U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS), the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), the Board of
Immigration Appeals (BIA), and in Immigration Courts across all 50 states. His practice includes
family and employment-based immigration, Naturalization, asylum, removal defense, waivers,
and other immigration issues.
